What problem are you having ?

Unable to create the mail domain

Cause: This error occurs if the Mail Domain already exists in Mail server or HC database or the AdvMail.dll is not properly registered..

Solution:

  • Register the AdvMail.dll present in DLL folder of HC installation directory using the following command

regsvr32 DLLlName.dll

  • Delete the existent mail domain from Mail server using the mail server's own interface and then try to create the domain again.

  • If the Mail domain exists in HC database, it will be displaying in Mail Manager interface. You may delete and recreate the domain from there.

 

Unable to delete mail domain

cause: This error occurs if the DLL for mail creation is not properly registered or the database connection in invalid.

Solution:

  • Register the AdvMail.dll present in DLL folder of HC installation directory using the following command

regsvr32 DLLlName.dll

  • Check the database connection in HC settings. The DSN name for HC is HCDatabase (unless specified different name during or after setup), and it should point to AdvWebAdmin.mdb (For MS Access) in HC install path, or point to SQL database for HC.

 

Mail access could not be created

Cause: This error occurs if the Mail Domain already exists in Mail server or HC database or the AdvMail.dll is not properly registered.

Solution:

regsvr32 DLLlName.dll
