Set user permission

Use this form to set up FrontPage-extended web permissions on the specified web. To do this provide the following fields

To change IP Address permissions:

1. Login into control panel.

2. Click on the FrontPage option, present in left frame, new contents will be loaded into left frame. Click User Permissions option present at the bottom of left frame.

3. In the interface displayed, enter the following information

• Virtual Host Name: Select the Host name on which you want to set permissions. Each level user will see the websites according to the following criteria

Host level: Existing websites on the server, where HC is installed.

Reseller level: Websites created by him.

Web admin level: Websites created for him, by his owner reseller.

• Port Number: Type the port number.

• Web Name: Type the name of the web. This should be the path to the web's top-level directory, from the server's top-level directory. To specify the root web, type a forward slash (/).

• User Name: This list box lists name of user currently logged on, and the users created by him. Select the user name, whose permissions you are adding, removing, or changing.
• Level of Access: Select the level of access for above user, following access levels are available

1. Browse Access

2. Browse and Author Access

3. Browse, Author, and Administrate Access

4. Remove this mask ( To remove all restrictions on the IP address or IP address mask )

4. Click on Change Permissions button to apply new permissions on the web.
