During Setup, in the Server Option dialog, select the servers you want hosting controller to manage. The servers should be installed before hand in order to configure HC to manage it, if the server is not already installed you don't need to select it. You may select the server later using provided utility settings.exe.
The options in Server Options dialog are
Mail Servers:
If you have mail server on remote server you still have to choose this
option, you will be asked later about the mail server being on the same
system or remote system.
List of supported mail servers
Stats Server:
If you have a supported statistics server installed, please select it,
otherwise not.
List of supported stats servers
FTP Server: If this option is checked Serv-U FTP server is used otherwise MS FTP Server is used for FTP Access.
DNS Server:
DNS server is a must for resolving domain names, if you have DNS server
on same or another NT box please select this option, you will be prompted
to enter the rest of the requirements later on in the setup.
