A list of installed mail domains is displayed on the Mail Manager screen. By default a domain has 2 mail boxes installed named root and web_admin_name. 'root' mail box is created because Internet standards dictate that every domain name should have a root address to give clients the ability to inform an administrator of problems with the domain. While the 'web_admin_name' mail box is created as the administrator mail box for the domain. For example, if you own a domain MyDomain.com and you user name is Richard, you have the following boxes
root@mydomain.com
richard@mydomain.com
Mail Box: A mail box is an area where messages are collected for retrieval by a mail client using the POP3 protocol (such as Outlook). Each mail box can be thought of as a user mail account within a domain.
Your Control Panel does not provide interface for creating and deleting mail boxes or to perform other operations like Aliasing, Mail Forwarding, auto responders etc. To perform these operation, you must use the web based interface where these options are already present.
