If HC is required to manage DNS, you need to enable and configure DNS option in HC settings. If DNS is on remote/secondary machine, see Enable Remote DNS Server .
To enable local DNS:
In Start menu Programs folder, go to NT Web Hosting Controller and click Settings. The Settings utility dialog will appear.
In Settings dialog, click on DNS tab and check the Enabled check box.
Click OK to apply the new setting.
