Authoring is enabled by default in the FrontPage Server Extensions. However, if you have disabled authoring, you can use this form to enable it.
To enable authoring on FrontPage web:
Login into control panel.
Click on the FrontPage option, present in left frame, new contents will be loaded into left frame. Click Enable Authoring option present at the bottom of left frame.
In the interface displayed, enter the following information
Virtual Host Name: Select the Host name on which you want to enable authoring. Each level user will see the websites according to the following criteria
Host level: Existing websites on the server, where HC is installed.
Reseller level: Websites created by him.
Web admin level: Websites created for him, by his owner reseller.
Port Number: Type the port number for the above Host Name.
Click on Enable Authoring button to enable authoring on the web.
To disable authoring on FrontPage web:
Login into control panel.
Click on the FrontPage option, present in left frame, new contents will be loaded into left frame. Click Disable Authoring option present at the bottom of left frame.
In the interface displayed, enter the following information
