To allow the hosting controller to use Mail Manager interface, Hosting Administrator needs to do few administrative settings. This topic describes these settings in detail.
Before configuring remote Mail, make sure
Remote Mail is enabled.
DCOM is configured properly.
HC Service Manager is running on both primary and secondary machine.
Configuration On Primary Machine:
In Start menu Programs folder, go to NT Web Hosting Controller and click Settings. The Settings utility dialog will appear.
In Settings dialog, click on Servers tab and check the Mail on Remote Server check box.
Enter the IP of the server where the Mail Server is running. e.g. 192.168.34.121.
Configuration On Secondary Machine:
In Settings dialog, click on Mail tab and checkthe Enabled check box.
Select VOPMail from Mail Server drop down list.
Select the Mail Box Type of your VOPMail, from VOPMailBox Type drop down list.
Click on Servers Tab, enter the IP of the primary machine (where web server is installed) in Primary Server IP box.
Click OK to apply new setting.
