Change Password

You may change your password by clicking the Personal Password button in control panel. HC also allows you to change the password for users under you  administration.

To change personal password:

1. Login into control panel.

2. Click on the   Accounts option, present in left frame.

3. Click Personal Password button, present at the bottom of the main frame.

4. Provide the following information in the interface displayed

• Domain Computer Name: Name of Domain where user account exists.

• NT User: Name of user whose password has to be changed.

• Old Password: Type user's old password.

• New Password: Here type the new password, length must be more than 5 and less than 15 characters.
  Note: Password may be numeric or alphanumeric.

• Confirm Password: Retype the above password to confirm it.

5. After supplying the above information, click the Change Password button. Now the new password has been set.

To change user password:

1. Login into control panel.

2. Click on the   Accounts option, present in left frame.

3. In the main frame, click on a the account name for which you want to change the password.

4. In the interface displayed, enablethe check box Change Password Also.

5. In New Password box, enter the new password for the user.

6. Click Update User button to save the changes.
